Specializing in utilities, AUS offers CaseWorks, a comprehensive docket/case management system application that helps organizations to capture, organize, classify, retain, and share all of its explicit and tacit knowledge in a single, secure web-based portal technology. This application can easily expand to include both legal and legislative activities to provide utilities with the public policy management platform. Managing all regulatory procedural steps including data requests is truly automated with this system application.

CaseWorks Overview
CaseWorks is a web-based case management tool for the regulated utility industry that streamlines all of your public policy processes and information handling needs. It provides secure browser-based access to intelligently organized workspaces for managing all of your regulatory case documents including testimonies and data requests.

Handling complex cases and coordinating the activities of your witnesses and their support team is made easy with CaseWorks’ workflow component which is automated and is configurable to accommodate your unique processes across all of your jurisdictions. The module's review process is also online and features automated routing of documents. Authors’ and reviewers’ modifications are captured with a document management feature (check-in and check-out) that provides automatic version control. Reviewers’ comments accompany each file to provide authors with direct feedback on the content of each file. CaseWorks keeps everyone up to date on all documents and activities with automatic change notifications and reminders. Larger utilities can easily assemble, track, and file simultaneous multi-jurisdictional regulatory cases.

CaseWorks provides a central location for managing your filings, data requests, hearing transcripts, comments/briefs, final orders, and compliance filings. Using off-the-shelf Microsoft technology, CaseWorks features a powerful search engine that allows you to quickly locate current and past case information in a variety of ways including case number, topic, witness, data request, filing date, or key word.

CaseWorks also provides smart calendars that chronologically capture and organize all pertinent meeting notes, supporting materials, and activities associated with each of your cases and dockets.
